GOVERNMENT PUBLICATIONS
Government Publications include annual reports of the Ministries, the Hansard Report, Reports of Commissions of Enquiry, the Trinidad and Tobago Gazette, Acts, Bills, Legal Notices, Budget Documents and the Central Statistical Office publications. Some of these legislative documents are now available online at the Parliament website.

INFORMATION FILES
Information Files contain newspaper clippings, leaflets, small pamphlets and copies of periodical articles. There are files on subjects, places, associations, and biographies. For newspaper clippings online see the Digital Library.

NEWSPAPERS
All the Trinidad and Tobago newspapers, both daily and weekly, are acquired. Some of the bound newspapers, particularly pre-1980, have been sent to the National Archives.

PICTORIAL MATERIAL
People, places, buildings and major events in society are captured by photographs, maps, atlases, postcards and stamps to document Trinidadian, Tobagonian and the Caribbean landscape.

ELECTRONIC MATERIAL
The electronic and audiovisual material housed by the library include CD-ROMS, Floppy Disks, Online Documents, Records, Film, and Microfilm. See NetLibrary for additional eBooks and eAudiobooks.

RARE BOOKS
This collection consists predominantly of historical material in the form of monographs, such as the Trinidad Year Book, the Historical Society Collection and several colonial records. Some of these are unique or irreplaceable, and must be handled with care.
