Joslynne Carr Sealey, in collaboration with the Heritage Library Division of the National Library and Information System Authority (NALIS), launched her book entitled "He served his fellowman: the life and work of Andrew Thomas Carr" on Thursday 18th November, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. at the Audio Visual Room of the National Library Building.
ABOUT THE BOOK
Andrew Carr is considered to be one of Trinidad and Tobago’s leading folklorists and connoisseurs on the history of Trinidad and Tobago during the 1920s to the 1970s. Thirty four years after his death, his daughter, Mrs. Joslynne Carr Sealey, has produced a detailed reference book about her father. The book is not strictly a biography as it can also be used as a source for research materials on the history of Trinidad and Tobago’s carnival.
Published by Lexicon Trinidad Ltd., "He served his fellowman: the life & work of Andrew Thomas Carr" will be available for sale in Trinidad and Tobago from November 18th 2010.
